Siyum Recap

Devorah Goldson | Merakezet Tochniot

This past Sunday,  we had the opportunity to celebrate! However, for more than one event. The idea for Siyum BaTanach, completing all of Tanach multiple times over all across the world, came to be in the beginning of 2020, back before Covid began. We had the idea in place, incredible learning opportunities, ideas were wonderful and the Mazkrim were thrilled! The finish date was set to be IDP Shabbaton, and the plans were in place!

However due to the crazy circumstances of the world, the Siyum was, as is the state of our lives at the moment, due to be online.

Thanks to all our incredible tzevet, staff and mazkirim, the Siyum Online was incredible! Starting off with wonderful opening words from Rav Shaul Feldman, followed by a very uplifting and inspiring Shiur given by Rav Yair, Rosh Yeshiva of YTVA.

Our Mazkirim lead a beautiful Siyum, special thanks to Eliav Saban for a lively Dvar Torah, and Ezra Kleinman and Didi Blau for leading the words of the Siyum to publicly thank Hashem and participants for all the wonderful 24 cycles of Tanach that were completed! David Glaser led a heartfelt and lively Kumzitz with fantastic songs, finishing off the Virtual Siyum with a truly “unforgettable” once in a lifetime, Virtual Mifkad. Definitely not the normal siyum, or Bnei Akiva event, however very fun nonetheless. And last but not least, special thanks to HA Member, Eli Seidman for a wonderful rendition solo act, of the singing of Hatikva!
We would like to take this moment to give a very special thank you, shout out, and gratitude from the bottom of our hearts – to our HA members, Mazkirim and Shlichim who put in endless hours of work to really make this SIyum happen, to end off this crazy year with an incredible bang.

From Shabbatons, to Divrei Torah, to all the wonderful Snif Activities that have happened throughout the year, we have had the most amazing opportunity to work with each and every one of you. And to all our Tzevet, and Chanichim, we would like to thank you for all your hard work, participation and dedication to the Tnuah and Snif.

We cannot wait to see the amazing strides and hard work you continue to do, and thank you all for taking the time to join our Siyum and making it as amazing as it was!
